A five days international workshop on numerical simulation of superfluids will be held at University of Rouen Normandy (France), from August 29th to September 2nd, 2017.
The workshop will focus on some of the most challenging recent problems concerning the mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of superfluid systems (Bose-Einstein condensate and superfluid Helium). The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers who have contributed to the development of relevant physical, mathematical and computational models in this area. The invited talks will span a large range of topics, from applied and pure mathematics to physics and computer science.
A particular attention will be paid to recent advances in high order computational methods for the Gross-Pitaevskii equation and their implementation using high performance computing.

This workshop is organized by Weizhu Bao (National University of Singapore) and Ionut Danaila (University of Rouen Normandy) and mainly supported by the ANR project BECASIM.

The number of participants that we can accommodate is limited, so that participation has to be by invitation.
